Eh, just realized your bolded text was the link. I haven't read enough of your blog to know if that's your normal format. As the intended link from that post it still goes against the design laws I had drilled into me (avoid underlining non-linking text but I think that follows to making sure the most important link *looks* like a link.) Again, undercaffeinated and just a little annoyed with those text things that magnetically draw my mouse to them.

Just have to let you know, as someone new to blogging, those textual ads (?) that pull up a search page - I don't know the correct term for them - are very disorienting. It looks like you are linking to your About Weblogs site when the hyperlinked word sends me to a search page instead.

If I hadn't accidently clicked a similar ad on another site I would have clicked there too (surfing/skimming too fast to check the thumbnail I suppose). I thought I had a spam search page pop-up at first. Not a great impression!

I know it's an income stream so I can't blame you, but it does sucker unsuspecting surfers who think they're clicking a link. Especially when you're saying "check my About Weblogs" and it's reasonable to expect a legit link there.

I'm still uncaffeinated so forgive me if this is an irrelevant rambling. Just fyi.
