I just want to thank Jodee for being such an awesome help these past few weeks. Summer is a tough time for me with my son home, plus I’m blogging full time. That doesn’t leave too much time for me to troll for leads. My options are to get rid of the blog or post less, scrape the feeds (which is akin to stealing, in my opinoon) or hire someone so I can continue to offer you the personal service you have come to expect these past couple of years. It cuts deep into my profits, but this blog is so important to me I thought it best to hire someone to keep it going. So thanks Jodee, and thanks to everyone for your support.
It’s funny, I make a living from words yet when it comes to thanking the regulars for coming here the past couple of years, I can never seem to find the right words. We’re two years old this summer and I couldn’t have done it without this outstanding community. So thank you. I hope to give back to you for many years to come!

Deb and Jodee, a great big thank you for all you do. I have received three jobs off of this site in the last year. One was a long-term gig and I landed my first major journalism assignment here.
Let me share with everyone what I do when I land a gig. I send Deb some dough! I hope I’m not the only one doing this. Isn’t it worth at least an hour’s pay not to have to troll the Internet looking for jobs?

I’ve found this blog to be so well updated and reliable since Jodee came on board, which isn’t to say it wasn’t before, but.. Anyway I do wonder and have been wondering Is the “buy me a coffee” for Jodee? B/c I noticed it came on board right about when she did?
