I was checking out the NFL blogger posting… anyone have any experience with blogging for Content Quake? Or any advice on red flags to look for?

As far as the “Magazine Writers” post goes — from Craigslist, with instructions to send a blank email in order to get guidelines — they don’t send you guidelines, they send you an acknowledgment that you are on their “Fran Harris Enterprises” subscription list and want you to click on to a shopping cart link to confirm the subscription.
Not going to do it. I was told I’d get guidelines, I want guidelines; I don’t want to be on someone’s “subscription list” when I don’t even know what it is.

on the content quake, I don’t always hear back from them. I’ve applied to a few different job offerings they had. JTLYK

I was about to post the same thing as Devon. It looks as if the “magazine writers” posting is a scam. They have a shopping-cart based newsletter, so I’m assuming there’s a fee involved. I’ve also flagged the post at CL.

Yeah, Brandi and Devon, I got that “confirmation” too. Very lame!
Thanks homemom3! I may give it a go, but at least now I know not to hold my breath
