If you are an NYC or LA based multi-talented writer who can really crank that copy out to a high standard, then this may be the perfect situation for you.

We are looking for one writer to be able to handle all of the following:

1) A once a month personal face to face short (20-30 minute) interview with a corporate executive in our industry and local to you. This interview would have to be captured via video and a full transcript also provided.

2) Massive amount of completely original writing on all sorts of topics, average length: 500 words. 90% of the research is simple, easy, “just google it” or “just click on this link” type, while the other 10% would require extra effort, phone calls, etc. You could easily exceed 100,000 words per month. Note that Copyscape is our best friend so when we say original we mean original.

As you can see this is very close to a full time job and we will compensate you accordingly. The monthly interview alone is budgeted at $250 or more. What we require in return is absolute professionalism, strict adherence to deadlines, and superlative “post-ready” copy.

If you can provide proof of your professional experience, please contact kathybrancato@hotmail.com.

Sounds like a good opportunity but a hotmail account???

  2. Tiffany says:

It may be to keep the company information confidential until they see a candidate they like. Just an idea. :-)

Another possibility is that firm has very “tight” spam filters or technical e-mail problems that are being corrected (this happens with my clients once in a while) or the person in hotmail is an outside HR consultant, not directly affiliated with the company.

Still, it’s good to at least be cautious in initial contact. If need be, note your concern in initial e-mail. Anyone the least bit savvy about identity theft should know hotmail is a red flag, so questining it shouldn’t be an issue.

Looks like it could be a good opportunity. I don’t get involved in video, or I would e-mail to ask if they would be expanding to my area in the future.

Hello. Tiffany is absolutely correct. We’re in an extremely competitive field and launching a new website in late October, so we don’t want to trumpet our URL publicly… not quite yet! :)

We’re concentrating on NYC/LA since that’s where the largest concentration of corporate headquarters are. Please email me for any questions. Thanks!

Sounds fairly solid to me! Unfortunately I don’t live in the NYC or Los Angeles area as of now. Good luck to all of the other writers that apply, though!

Hello. I want to thank Deborah and her extremely effective website. The notice has attracted a flurry of very well qualified applicants. By all means, consider this an extremely positive testimonial!
