Wanted: Sports Bloggers

Are you a sports nut who lives and breathes anything and everything about sports?

The Sports Channel at b5media is expanding and in search of multiple bloggers.

We want bloggers who will not only provide the latest sports news, but also give their passionate opinion about what’s going on in the world of sports.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is willing to promote the blog through networking with other bloggers, social networking groups, sports message boards and other interaction.

If you want to be a b5 Sports blogger, you should be prepared to write 6 or more posts per week.

Right now we are in search of candidates for several sports blogs:

Please see the ProBlogger Job Board for more details.

Thanks for posting this Deb. We need a lot of great people, so I encourage everyone who is a sports nut to apply!

  2. Erik Hare says:

    Blogging is a sport?

Oh, you mean that … it’s … nevermind.

  3. Phil says:

    Erik,

    Ouch.

By the way, I’m a reformed sportswriter (seven years as one, 20 years “on the wagon”).

  4. MIcah says:

Sigh. I’m not into sports but seems like a great opportunity for those of you that are!

  5. Phil says:

    Micah,

It might be, but those type of opportunities typically require someone who follows little but sports. I got out of that because it consumed all of my nights and weekends.

  6. Mariella says:

Micah>> you’ll find something in your area of expertise. :)

Actually, this reminds me of that little lost email in my spam folder. It was a science blogging gig which I had wanted for quite some time (since I specialize in science). :(

  7. William Campbell says:

Oh, I’m sorry, Mariella. I’ve had the exact same thing happen to me with my dream gigs (reviewing video games for $45/hour plus writers expenses, travel, and per article fee of hundreds of $) I know how ya feel.

  8. Mariella says:

Whoa…You missed THAT one? Well, I guess if it’s not for you; it’s not for you. I’m sure better ones will come in the future ;)

  9. I applied for this job as I have an extensive background in sports journalism…I really hope for a chance with b5!

Rock On...
