Celebrity Property Blogger Wanted.

Mark Knowles @ The Luxury Property Blog is looking for a blogger to follow, report and comment on celebrity property. Not literally follow – and if you get arrested outside Leonardo DiCaprio’s house for stalking, you’re on your own. Who is buying, who is selling, who is employing which interior designer, how much did so-and-so pay for their home etc.

The position calls for two, 300 word posts a week to start. $10 per post – which is about double what the cheapskates are offering to pay on some sites I won’t mention. Hopefully this will expand to a daily requirement as the blog grows and assuming you don’t suck too bad – that’s another requirement – being able to live with my admittedly odd sense of humor.

If you know me, you will know I am not a big fan of paying 1 cent a word for blog posts – I am a blogger first, employer second – so if you think you are worth more money than this, email me and tell me why. I will expect you to be able to back this up with links to work you have already published and any achievements you have made. I understand that the research, link building and promotional activity is as important as the content. Also, if you live in a celebrity-rich environment and can provide genuinely unique content such as your own photos – I am prepared to pay more.
