When I used my “writing samples” document as my first test of the software, I was horrified to find that my so-called cherry picked articles from my collection had no less than four errors each – including “right of passage.” Ugh! I want to suck up those emails and send each recepient an apology. I’d spouted on about how thoroughly I check my work, too. ;(

I’m just going to pray and look for more leads tomorrow!

Since there are typically dozens, if not hundreds, of applicants for off-site editing positions, this makes me wonder about the viability of the startup and/or its staff turnover. It doesn’t seem to have its act together at this point.

I guess I just don’t get it.

Just a comment; I’m a tech writer and I’ve noticed that most positions are on-site…I’ve always thought that was rather amusing. You’d think, of any genre, we’d be most likely to reap the rewards of technology!
