Hey gang. Just a quick note to let you know that a “Report Writer” requiring SQL skills is not a writing job, it is a programming job.

The Realtor Profiles job. I applied for that one yesterday and was turned down because my rate was too high. Seems the guy wants to pay very minimally, a friend of mine bid 3 cents per word and he rejected her too.

Since I’m a teacher turned writer, I was very intrigued by the Freelance Teacher/Writer post. The ad itself provided extensive information, but had no contact info–when I replied to the “recruiter” it led to a website that has job leads, but only if you pay the subscription price. So, instead of getting a response back particular to the position, I got spammed with “here’s some jobs we have, subscribe now to find out more.” Blech!

Is anybody else getting error messages for the “Article Writers for Women’s Website” listing? My e-mail got bounced right back to me…
