If anyone has checked out the proofreader ad – wow! Does *he* need help! Can’t write a two word title or a three sentence without creating a grammar and spelling trainwreck.
Honestly – does anyone else get confused, turned off, or upset when someone who is hiring can’t bother to check their *own* work sometimes?? I mean, a title and three sentences – for a proofreading job!
I understand the occasional error (I get tripped up on “occasional” nearly every time!), because we all have them. But it’s like going to the office dressed in a wrinkled Tshirt and holey jeans. Just looks like you didn’t give a darn.
I thought it was funny… as in a joke!

I thought it was meant as a joke, particularly “hellp.”

Well, maybe I’m a little touchy this morning…
Still, kind of a risk to put an ad out that way, I think.
FYI: for the four-week book writing assignment, keep in mind that he wants 70 *single-spaced* pages (so, really, it’s more like 140 pages).
