We currently seek an experienced music journalist with experience in magazine writing. It’s mainly indie music so ideally the hiree would be someone who reads publications like Fader, Paste, Filter and things of that guild. It’s a contract job that will last through the end of this year. We will not purchase reprints. We would need two 800 word articles per month and will pay 0.20 a word. Lesser experienced writers may receive less (0.17). Once we get the website fully functional the hiree will be asked to contribute to the blog as well and will be paid accordingly.

For the writers: We aren’t Rolling Stone so please do not contact us trying to negotiate for $1-$2 a word. Payments will be made via paypal so that is a requirement also. Please send resume and one relevant writing clip (no less than 400 words) to ser_cul@hotmail.com
