Completely OT, but I just received my copy of Writer’s Digest yesterday, and saw that FWJ made the 101 Best Writers Websites list! Congrats to Deb and Jodee!

@ Plaidearthworm: Wow, thank you for including me in the congrats, but Deb the one who should be getting the credit. She is truly an inspiration.
Love your Screen Name, BTW!

Wow! Now THAT’s an accomplishment! That must tell you you’re doing something right, eh Deb? If I were you, I’d be rethinking that sale price to James with that credential behind you!
Congratulations Ladies!

@ Jodee
See your point, but I think you’re being modest and I think Deb would agree. If she hadn’t had you here keeping it going there wouldn’t be a site to highlight. ANd might I add–you fell seemlessly into that position; had Deb not told us that you were managing leads, none of us would realize it wasn’t her!
This should be a great traffic booster, too!

That’s wonderful news, thank you so much for letting us know!! This is the second year in a row. I didn’t get my copy yet so it’s a real treat. Especially since I didn’t campaign for it this year.
And yes, Jodee deserves much of the accolade. It’s not an exaggeration to say I probably wouldn’t be doing so well if not for Jodee. If I didn’t find someone who I completely trust with my baby, I would have sold the blog.
Moreover, that members of this community sent in donations so I could continue to pay Jodee says something as well.
So yes, Jodee. Take your bows because you deserve it just as much, if not more, than me.

TGIF! (Does anyone say that any more?)
Congrats to Deb and to Jodee. This place provides my daily dose of sanity. Can’t imagine what I would do without it.

@ Mary: Thank you. You are very kind.
@ Deb: Thank you, too. You are always so generous with your praise; it’s such a pleasure to work here. So I will take a bow, too, and give you a virtual high five!

Congrats Deb and Jodee!
@ L.L. - I say it (at least to myself) *every* Friday!

@ LL
I’m with Teresa–it’s a Friday morning Mantra, even though my weekend probably starts more like noon on Saturday (when I quit writing for the week). Actually, I start on Thursday, with TGIA[almost]F!

@ Jodee
You’re most welcome.
