Regarding Orange Life Magazine:
I’ve worked them more than a year ago, but have never been paid… This is just for your info.. Even if there was a contract…
Maybe you should ask half the payment before to submit anything to them.
Maybe they pay now the actual work – I have no idea. At that time at least, I know that I’m not the only one not having been paid.
So just be careful..

Travelzoo does not pay right now. The company said that it ‘may’ start paying 60 days from now.

If you’re working for free, how will you get paid in 60 days? Or do you mean you have to do a free sample?

blurg about the free blogging from travelzoo i am going to do it just because it is a high profile website,and ups my profile but i wont overextend myself sixty days seems like a long time to get paid though
man i wish the good paying jobs responded as quickly…

Thanks, Scribette. I told them to visit my website and that I am prepared to discuss compensation if they are interested in my writing. I doubt they are though . It’s free writing they’re interested in.

Has anyone tried to apply to Orange Life Magazine?

This is the second time (at least) their listing appears here. I applied a couple of weeks or so agoand they contacted me a week or so later, demanding three samples to be delivered the next day.

I refused, ’cause it all looked suspicious to me. Maybe I shouldn’t have, I don’t know. They are still asking for free samples…
