Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes….

I always said I would only leave the world of freelancing if the perfect job came along. Tonight I have a bittersweet announcement to make. Sweet because I found the perfect job, bitter because it won’t allow me as much time here.

Let me explain.

I accepted the position of Community Manager for Blog Talk Radio. It’s a job allowing me to do everything I love – write, blog and social networking. To be honest, I didn’t agonize over this decision too long because I knew from the minute I saw the gig, it would be perfect.

I’m not leaving you. I’ll still be around. Jodee is getting a promotion and will be running the joint in my absence. She’ll also be blogging beyond her list of leads so you’ll still get really good advice from a pro. Plus we will probably hire another columnist – but more about that at a later date.

I’m going to miss the freedom of freelancing but I’m also going to enjoy being able to focus on one job for one client. I’m also going to like knowing exactly how much is coming in each month. The beauty part is I can still work from my home office. I’ll be giving this new job my all, but I’ll still be visiting you here during the off hours.

Congratulations to Jodee. I didn’t hesitate one iota before offering her the keys to the kingdom and she didn’t hesitate one iota before accepting.  She loves you guys as much as I do and I know you’ll see good stuff from her!
