Just a note regarding first item on the list…The Republic is a fine newspaper (they must be, they didn’t hire me 30+ years ago!), though freelance newspaper pay is just above some pay for Craiglist offerings.
I love the movie trivia question one! Thanks for the leads Jodee!
Happy Monday, everyone and best of luck with some great leads —THANKS, Jodee!!
Best,
~victoria
The Web Content Editing one will only accept your application if you register on their site, including providing info on where you live and your birth date. Being that they’re an online directory, it kinda makes you think twice.
And Feature Writer says telecommute, but then it sneaks in “meeting people in the north Texas area.”
I missed the movie trivia one because I slept in this morning…I know, I know. I wasn’t feeling good. But, the proofreading one here in Austin sounds interesting…thanks for the Texas leads, Jodee!
I wondered about the web content editing one as well. I’m a little leary of putting all of my info out there like that. Anyone familiar with the site?
I don’t ever give my birthday. It is a directory, so I steer clear if I were you.
Thanks Jodee–this list looks promising. I see a few gigs I’m interested in!
