That might be someone who takes material that was written by another party (usually ranging in quality from the merely awful to near-incomprehensible)and transforms it into a thing of beauty and clarity.

I’ve done plenty of that myself — taking articles that were “written” by engineers in some form of mutant English, and making it publication-ready.

I’ve also had to revamp pieces that were written by people whose first language is not English — sometimes it’s their third or fourth. When I was done, the articles sounded as though they been written by a native speaker, and the “authors” were overjoyed with my work.

THE JOB:

The job you are inquiring about is an opening for several unique positions in online blogging, internet sites, and other content sites (including writing internationally for a new service we have connections with). You would be writing several times a day (anywhere from 3 jobs in a business day to 10). The hours are flexible and if you cannot complete the jobs for the day, your pay for that day will only be deducted for the amount you had not worked. We are looking for creative writers who display professionality and originality. (in other words: you can throw in a joke or two, a pun, something witty, or your own personal twist into each of the reviews). Your applications and consideration will be based on your reviews.
