Wonderful list today Jodee!!!! Thank you. It is going to take a while to go through them all.
Thanks Jodee!
The InstaBlogs Network sent a message to all their writers on 10/13 that, as of 10/14 they would be shutting down for the next several months to upgrade and reconfigure their style guides.
Great list Jodee!
Thanks Jodee!
Woohoo!
Thanks Jodee. This list looks awesome.
Thank you.
Hands up time… who else read the first job as “Calling All Geeks”?
@ John – I did! Glad I’m not the only one!!
Great list, Jodee. Thanks a million.
@John and Kathy> I’m third, I guess. LOL.
Jodee you ROCK!! The telecommute list is awesome!! I’m having my first baby soon and I’m hoping to find enough work to stay at home with her. She’s due February 3rd and her name is Maria Anne, she’s also very grateful!
I replied to the job posted for resume writers ($30-$150), although they are waiving the registration fee, there is a monthly marketing fee of $27 or so. They are offering a 14 day free trial but in the end you will have to dish out money. Just thought I’d let you know.
A follow-up, who read it “Calling all Geeks” and thought, “Terrific. That sounds right up my alley.”
Love this list! Thanks!
Great list Jodee! There’s a couple I’m applying for today.
On another note, I recently picked up a couple of gigs that I found here. I just wanted to say thanks for the leads!
The writer/editor ad for askejean.com ($3,000 a month) is a scam. Many women seeking a real job have signed on to the web site and answered five questions from users there in the Advice Vixens section as the ad instructs — as though they are members there. Users have commented on the explosion overnight in new members. And anytime anyone has explained what is going on the entire thread has been deleted. She’s not looking for a clever and upfront editor/writer/advice columnist — she’s just driving up her hits and the number of users there.
@ John: *raising hand*
Great list, Jodee!
@Karen,
That’s annoying. I also saw her advertising for an astrologer recently as well. Somehow I would have expected better from a nationally known columnist.
Karen and Fiona–wow, I was really interested in that E Jean thing too. Did you guys get any sort of response from them? How did you find out it’s a scam?
Mia – I didn’t apply. For one thing, it felt too much like an attempt to drive traffic to her site, especially when I realized there weren’t that many advice problems to answer, certainly not enough to justify a full time job and level of pay. I hope it does turn out to be genuine for someone but I wasn’t going to waste the time basically writing for free as an audition.
