Good morning FWJ Friends! It’s a very frosty morning here (as in snow crunches under your feet when you walk) and I slept in today. Hopefully something on today’s list will be worth the wait, though.

@Jodee – Thanks that Vietnamese posting looks intriguing, though I can’t call myself an expert.
I don’t know if I’d describe the snow as “crunching.” It’s that horrible styrofoam-like squeak that occurs when I walk down my driveway that I can’t stand! It’s still 5 below (farenheit) here in Vermont and not supposed to get much warmer!
Nothing like sleeping in on a crunchy-snow day.
Thanks for the posts!
Crunchy snow…
I’m waiting to hear the robins and jays chirp, “It’s spring, it’s spring, woot, woot!”
Thanks for the leads today Jodee.
Great list Jodee! I was able to apply for a couple!
It was blazing hot yesterday, here in SoCal. Today’s it’s up in the 70s. I have no idea what you guys are talking about! LOL
@ Anne G: Styrofoam is right….
@ Kenna: I blame the warm flannel sheets for this morning. I actually slept in until 7.
@ Michelle: I say bring on the robins, too.
@ Spencer: You are most welcome.
If anyone finds out what the “blogger needed yesterday!!” gig is about, let us know. Would have been nice to give us a topic or something.
A topic is always a novel thing to have available. I will never understand why an employer would not give a basic idea of topic and scope. I have to imagine that general ads like this get 10 x as many unqualified writers applying as they would if they’d list a specific topic.
Chris -
I mean even general – cars, dogs, cooking, high blood pressure – something! I realize they need someone quickly (“yesterday!”), but just a few more words would have helped a lot.
Erika I applied to that job an hour or so ago and have yet to receive a reply so who knows. I’ll share if I get a response back.
i went ahead and sent a very nice short email telling them I had some blogging experience and would like to know what their topic is (before I send on a resume).
I didn’t tell them my area of specialty – I want to see what their response is. I hope they have time to answer back!
I queried on the “blogger needed” post, too. I generally am wary of such vague Craigslist posts, but …
Maybe we should all do that…write to them with a gentle “Hey, it’d be nice to know what you need someone to blog about….”
The social workout op may be NY-based. They want (as they phrase it) “local intel.”
