Are you using Twitter to make connections and network with other writers – and the people who hire writers? If not, I recommend you take it into consideration. Twitter is a powerful and useful networking tool, plus it helps to break up the lonliness many of us experience when we work at home all day.  Feel free to follow me on Twitter @debng – and post your Twitter names below so the FWJ community can follow each other!

Here are some leads for today:

Good luck and enjoy your day!

    Hi Deb,
I love this website- check it almost daily. I’m a college student new to the freelance world, trying to get some experience so I can maybe land a permanent writing job one day. I’m really interested though in learning about internship opportunities. I know you all listed them in the past, but I haven’t seen any leads in a while. Any chance of you bringing them back?

  2. Ashley says:

Aha! Dial-up (at home) finally let me view FWJ but won’t open up any links. I suppose I should be glad I could even read FWJ. *s*

    I’m @jennipps on Twitter.

    Best,
    ~Jen

  7. S. says:

I’m almost done adding everyone! Again, I’m @samcab over on Twitter, so please shoot me a hello.

Cheril – Do you think it works to your benefit to have a different twitter for every site/blog? I don’t think I’d want to keep up with checking in on so many, but if you think it works, I just might give it a whirl.

  8. Cheril says:

On the different twitter for every site/blog question: I use @newtotvblogger for general posts but I find the other two useful as it attracts people who are interested in just “Gossip Girl” or the specific celebrity site I write for. It’s more time consuming and I’m still a newbie at Twitter, but I think it will be worth it in the long run.

  9. Luanne says:

I had a job offer from SliceDice also…. It’s my first freelance position, so im excited, but i cannot find anything on the internet about them either. I don’t know what to do.

  10. Luanne says:
