As I watch the snow fall outside my office window, I’m thinking how happy I am I don’t have to commute anymore. My son is home today though, so it won’t be easy. This is something I try to convey to the people who want to leave their day jobs to work at home and be with their kids. It’s not easy to work at home, especially with kids. No matter how well you plan it out, they’ll always require your attention. Like my 6 year old – who has to give me the play by play of every cartoon, every DS Lego Star Wars battle, and every thing the dog does.
Hope you’re enjoying your day, whatever your weather. And I hope you’re enjoying your family too!

Snow is really falling over in your neck of the woods. Enjoy!!!
Deborah,
Beautiful snow pic! And I love your dog pic too. My dog looks just like yours except w/ a red collar!
I used to have three dogs (two are in doggie heaven now) and I used to joke that it looked like I had three dead dogs around my desk when I was writing because they’d all lay down and snooze for hours while I worked.
It looked really funny.
Wendy
Nice leads thanks.
Not snowing here just snow on ground.
Eagerly waiting for spring.
Try working with a 1.5 year old and a 3 month old baby. Not easy but someone has to do it! That is why I use every opportunity I have to write or learn, even if it is 5 minutes!
Sorry to hear about your snow. Not to rub it in, but it’s 71 and sunny here right now.
No kids to work around here, just cats. Why do they always want to lie on the keyboard when I really need to work?
Do you guys have a recommendation section, i’d like to suggest some stuff
