Good morning and welcome to another day filled with freelance writing job leads and opportunities. You may notice a new design, I hope you like it. The FWJ home page is rocking! It’s a beautiful new magazine style portal designed to send traffic to all the FWJ blogs. Thanks so much to James and Harry and the entire Men with Pens team for pulling it off. You wouldn’t believe what they went through to get us here!
I hope you’ll visit all of the blogs in the FWJ network, at least from time to time, and participate in the discussions!
Again thanks for your patience as we make these changes. I’m hoping this will be the last of the downtime and upgrades for a very, very long time.

Thanks for the leads and refreshing new look btw!
The ad for Website Content Writer with Ideal Designs Publishing is an expensive scam. You will receive an auto-response email with a website link to “apply” for the job. However, it is actually a site to pay your upfront fee and your $47 a month fee for the privilege of writing articles that pay $10 each.
Oh, and the ad for Internet Writer that you stated was “fishy,” definitely is just that. It appears to be a very long ad for a book that you can buy for $39.99, rather than an actual writing opportunity.
Great leads, as always.
That “Internet Writer” post takes you to a pitch for a “Write at Home System.” I love it when they say “no experience necessary—if you can talk, you can write!” Blech.
Oh, I was just coming on to mention Ideal Designs Publishing. It sends back an auto-response that encourages you to go and sign up for their program. It smells heavily of a scam.
I would love that blue collar sitcom writer job! Too bad I have absolutely no experience in that area, LOL.
Hey guys. Deb put a lot blood, sweat and especially tears into FWG lately. Lets show her how much we appreciate all she does by supporting her advertisers. I do it every time I’m here. I hope you do to.

Thanks for the heads up on the scams, fellow writers!
love the new look, Deb! And thanks for getting the leads up too!
I had to laugh–I misread “accident writer” as “accidental writer.” My cats meet that job description every time they jump on my keyboard.
Thank you, Deb, for all of your hard work. I’m new around here, but yours is the best freelance site I’ve found.
Great new look! thanks for the leads, as usual.
The Web Content Writer is spam, but thanks for the links!
Great job!
Hello. In re: the job post you have which directs to bloglinktag.com
I sent an email a couple of weeks ago to Ms. Ng, regarding this very site. This is a scam, where the website owner allegedly will pay you $10 to write a promotional blog post about his business and place it on your OWN blog and leave it there for ONE YEAR!!! How can you earn $20-30/hour? By having a lot of blogs and posting on each one. Total scam. fyi
That “Web Content Writer” scam appears a lot. When I got that link to the “application” site, right away I thought, “Didn’t I create a filter for that Freelance Home site?” And sure enough, I did. But they’ve obviously found ways around that. At least I know better than ever to click into that site when the next new scam comes up. But obviously it’s going to keep coming up.
This new look is quite beautiful! Thank you!
