I actually hadn’t applied for anything because I was busy doing a batch of articles on Shure’s microphone line.

Now that I’m done that, I’m getting off the computer for the day and enjoying the warmer temperatures. Can’t wait for Saturday when they are saying sun and 60!

Warning about a job ad for a Project Manager/Marketing Coordinator with Urban Greenlight? I can’t remember if I found it posted here or elsewhere.

Salary sounds great and they’ll even cover your rent for an executive office out of your home. The job description is right up my alley. And then I reached the part where the manager talks about having to sign up at TrialPay and watch a full length movie. The wording says “Sign up for the trial offer (NO PAY) or sign up for one of the offers and watch the movie. Once you’ve watched the movie, apply for the job.”

So unless you pay the view the movie, you will not receive a salary. I’m doubting whether the job really exists given the conditions.

  7. Jamaal says:

I am the Manager and that is not what I stated. I did not say you had to sign up for trial pay. If you needed to watch the movie which would be your first project then you had an option to view the movie free via trial pay. The interview processes will include questions regarding this. You can sign up for a trial offer or buy an offer to get the movie link but this is not required.

Maybe my wording is not clear and if this is the case I would like to apologize. I will go through word of mouth instead of trying to list a new job because it appears that the HATE is very strong from those that do not get hired or want to make up their own rules.
