Writer Wanted

We are looking for writers nationwide.

This is an open position, we are looking to hire 20 new writers in the month of April and each month subsequently.

http://www.ChristBusinessPartners.org specializes in Web 2.0 media products for small businesses nationwide. We are a Not for Profit centered business whom donates 86% of their profits to charities and building funds for community centers and churches.

Although we are owned and ran by Christians, you need not be Christian to be an interviewer/writer for our company.

The interviewer/writer position has 2 basic components. Interviewing and obviously writing…

Our business model is such that the interviewer/writer will contact a new business owner (usually the business has opened in the last 3 mos) and interview them to write a brief business profile on their company. We provide contact lists of businesses that we would like to interview. Essentially the interviewer/writer will call and say that they are calling from “CBP Press” and we profile new businesses and write brief articles about them on the web. We have some basic questions that we would like for you to address on the call and write about in the article that you will be publishing on our website about that business.

Allthough there is a telephone aspect to the position most always people are happy to hear from you and want the free press published on the web about their company. Most are just starting to brand their business themselves on the internet and need the content written about them.

So you basically contact the business owner from the list that is provided and write a breif 2-3 paragraph article about the business, file a few e-forms to get paid and your job is complete.

Once the article is written and published, we have salespeople call and follow up with a presentation about our web 2.0 audio and video casting. There a sale is made, but by all means your position is sales free, just interviewing and writing.

Our compensation is as follows:

$15 per article plus a bonus of 7.5% of whatever the sales person collects.

You get the $15 per article regardless of whether or not a sale is made.

Our services cost $250. So your bonus on a sale is $18.75 and 1 out of 4 are closing.

Average it out and you will see roughly $19.69 per article with the bonus added in.

We pay via PayPal twice per month on the 1st and 15th.

We are only accepting people with writing experience. We use WordPress as our blogging platform. If you are new to wordpress it is very easy. You can open and account at www.wordpress.com to get familiar with writing posts.

Basically all you need to write is the title, body of the profile, enter in a few keywords, assign a category by checking a box and you’re done! WordPress is very simple.

We expect you to be able to complete at least 6 interviews/articles per day up to a human breaking point of 12 articles per day.

Your typical hour in a day would consist of 5-10 mins finding a business owner who is available, 15-20 mins conducting the interview and 30 mins writing the article. Repeat this 6 or greater times per day.

IF YOU HAVE WRITING EXPERIENCE, AND AGREE TO OUR TERMS:

We conduct a 10 article test period where we get a feel for your writing style and you will have an editor. During these first 10 articles you are compensated $7.50 per article. After the first 10 posts and editor approval you move freely into the full compensation package.
