When you’re handling your monthly accounting, are you taking everything into consideration? For instance, my spreadsheet doesn’t only include income. It also includes deductions for predicted income tax plus supplies, the pay for my bloggers, and any other products or services related to my freelancing and consulting jobs. I know many writers who feel they’re earning a profit because they’re bringing in money, but everything needs to be taken into account – even electricity. Figure in all your pay plus all your expenses. This will allow you to see if you’re charging enough for your work or if you need to curb your work-related spending.

The job for Blueberi Inc has no contact information to send clips. And when I Google their company name, nothing comes up that I can find. Anyone have experience with them?
@Jeanne – I had just finished looking up the company too and came up with -
http://en.b2b168.com/c168-228500.html
But I have no idea if that is the same company or not. After researching the woman’s name, I found her linked to an upcoming clothing website, but that doesn’t really match the blogger job description.
thanks for all you do rebecca
Just a warning on the “80 Page Training Manual Needs Editor” – Yesterday, the ad said $150-$500. I contacted him, he asked for a price…I offered $350 and never heard back from him…and now he has “adjusted” his budget. I think he may be fishing around for free(ish) work.
I noticed the lack of contact information for the Blueberi Inc. listing as well. In addition to the (unhelpful) web presence you found, Anne, you can also visit http://www.blueberi.net to find something just as unhelpful, namely, a placeholder site.
Maybe somebody will clear this up soon.
I found the same thing about the Blueberi job. Also, when I e-mailed my cover letter and info to the Craigslist address for the Pet Lover’s job, I got this message: “Sorry, but the craigslist user address you recently mailed (gigs-arpqc-1191366041@craigslist.org) does not seem to be valid. It could be you’re trying to respond to a very old posting, or that the user has not requested anonymous email forwarding. Please check the address and try again.” Wonder what that means?
@Beth – I’d applied for the Pet Lover’s job the night before and didn’t have any problem.
@Anne G. – Hmmm. Maybe there were enough applicants already by the time I submitted. If that’s the case, good luck to you!
@Beth – Thanks. Haven’t heard a word back, so not sure. I did hear back from one yesterday – the sentence writer. He emailed and said he would be contacting people next week.
