I’d like to see someone discuss what rates are for managing/writing for a corporate blog. I might have an opportunity, but I know what professional “traditional” writing rates are, not rates for blogging.

Is it okay to submit the same query or manuscript to a number of different magazines at the same time?

If I submit a completed manuscript, do I need to protect it from being used without my authorization? If yes, what’s the best way to do that?

It’s funny that Leo asked about that because I was just coming here to ask for your advice since you had that statement in your feed footer. I’m finding stolen content from a blog I write for at various “spam blogs”. Do you have any tips on how to stop this or get the blogs to take the content down? Some of them don’t allow comments or don’t have contact info for me to even bring it to their attention that they’ve been caught. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hey Deb, I read your blog via my feed reader. Why is this showing up on the feed?

I am a content thief. If you’re not reading this blog post through an RSS Feed you can pretty much assume I’m a slimy spam blogger and stealing content from someone else’s blog.

I don’t understand.
