Freelance Writing Jobs for Wednesday, June 17, 2009

cappuccino2

In case you missed the news, we have two new bloggers at the FWJ network. Lorna Doone Brewer and Simon James will begin at the Other Stuff blog to provide comic relief to writers and other freelancers. I was so impressed by the caliber of writers who applied, the decision was so difficult.  I’m also humbled by the response, more than 500 people hoped to work here. I want to thank everyone who applied. With so many responses, I hope you can understand why I’m not writing to each applicant personally to say thank you.

Leads…

Good luck!

  1. Thanks for the leads, Deb – have a great day!

  2. The Consultant/Grant writer ad says this: We offer manatory training certification for Consultants and Grant Writers, for a minimum charge of $95.00.

It looks like they want applicants to pay for this course first.

  3. >(Sorry bad writers. You can’t apply for this one.)

    Snort. This made me laugh.

  4. Ooh a Bucks County post (that’s where I live!) haha
I can also relate to the person in the post as I am struggling with mental illness too, but I don’t really think the job is right for me…

  5. Hi, The Writes for Internet Articles listing has been flagged for removal from Craig’s List.

    Deborah

  6. Is it my computer or has there not been any postings since Wednesday?

  7. Does anyone know anything about Elance?

  8. Hi Brigitte,

I didn’t post jobs yesterday, you’ll have a nice long list in a couple of hours!

    Rock on,

    Deb

  10. Brigette,

I would not go with Elance. They charge providers a fee on the salaries.
