Freelance Writing Jobs for July 30, 2009

This has got to be the soggiest summer for as long as I can remember. Torrential rain almost every day, and not enough outside time. The good news is that it gives me time to get stuff done, the bad news is I have a cranky case of cabin fever.

Not a huge batch of leads today, but it’s summer.

Don’t forget, we’re hiring!

    Nice list!!!

  3. hazel says:

not a bad list for summertime! Thanks Deb.
Hope it dries out there – we’re back to drought in DC, after being very soggy for several months.

  4. Donna says:

I was hoping I might qualify for the Cheese Expert job. I heard it really shreds. But sadly I am just a cheesy amateur and feeling kind of Blue about the whole thing. Truly, I just Camembert it. Hopefully one day my work will be Gouda’nough to Brie considered. Until then, I’ll just Edam and weep. Ricotta go now. (Sorry …. it’s that time of day. Kids are getting silly and my brain is out of serious mode.)

  5. mel says:

Donna: LOL… colby, swiss, and cheddar melted all together helps it melt with ease…

Deb: As to soggy, this has been the hottest and driest summer that I can remember in the Austin area and it’s only the end of July. Normally we don’t get 100 degree temps until end of Aug or first of Sept. But we have had 2 months of more days being 100+ than not. I think we have only had about maybe 10 days of rain since May. I am afraid to rub my feet on the crunchy grass in case it bursts into flames :) .

  6. Yep Global Warming is nothing more than fiction. Hotter temperatures, significantly wetter periods, higher precipitation levels world-wide….nothing to see here, nothing to see. All a big conspiracy

    /rolls eyes.

Same thing in Europe. Hotter temps than ever, higher rainfall than ever. I don’t see how people can fail to see what is right in front of their eyes.
