I’m happy to report the feeds have been fixed. Thanks to all who brought it to my attention. I had no idea! You should be able to subscribe via email or your favorite feed reader now with no problem. Some folks who responded to our survey requested a way to combine all our feeds into one for more convenient feed reading. I’ll see what I can do…
Some survey comments are also stating they would like to see more “non-Craigslist” writing ads. I would love to accommodate. However, Craigslist does list the most freelance writing jobs each day – and I try to find the non-scammy, spammy ones, and I also comb several other job boards and sites for leads as well. They just don’t have good stuff every day. Craigslist does get a bum rap for being a haven for spammers and that’s true. It’s also still one of the best places to find lucrative writing opportunities and I wouldn’t be so quick to write off jobs just because they come from Craigslist. Thanks to those of you who already took our survey. It really lets us know how you use FWJ and what we can do to improve. If you haven’t already told us how you feel, you can find the survey here. I posted some guidelines today. Note that these are not jobs. These are markets to query. Please follow all the directions in the writers guidelines as some editors are real sticklers. A nice list today. Also, for those of you who are asking, FitzDrake Research is Examiner.com. Since they’re being flagged for spamming Craigslist, they’re not using “Examiner” in the job description. Ok. I’m done talking.
