I take a skills-based approach with my resume, listing my writing skills at the top (copywriting, blogging, etc.) then under "Employment", I include a heading for "Freelance Writer" under which I list some of my publishers and clients. You can see an example on my website. Hope this helps!

Me three! I’d love to see an example. I really need to redo my resume. It’s funny, you’d think since I am a writer I’d be able to write a decent resume. The problem is, I can’t write about myself. I may need to pony up and hire someone to do my resume for me.

i’m noticing that some sites ask for a resume. if i’ve only done writing on content sites, like helium or associated content, how can i list that experience on a resume?
