Hi! I am new, and this is my first posting, but I’ve been a frequenter of the site for quite a while and must say I love it! I just wanted to follow up on that My Body of Color lead. I was too burned by them and was irritated. I sent multiple follow-up emails and signed up for the stupid site and got the snub! I was wondering if it was just me or if anyone else experienced the same thing…so when I saw this I smiled and had to reply
Re: TravelFriends – Generally, I find anything asking you to sign up for a website and post a review and then they’ll decide if you’re a good match is a waste of time. I think they post the ads solely to boost traffic. I know I’ve signed up for a few of them in the past, Trazzler and HomeAway are two I’ve done that with. All I’ve ever gotten out of both are four+ weekly emails and when I’ve told them to remove me from the list, they say they will and never do.
As a result, I have them both marked as Spam and that’s where their emails end up.
There is the one site that keeps getting on here and for some odd reason they’re the only one that ever actually responds…
This scam company keeps sending me this link to a website under different names but typically the person will put their name (in the most recent case yesterday it was Gina) and they’ll promise some bs offer of $25 per article.

These people keep spreading their scam all over craigslist and it’s getting annoying for those of us looking for REAL opportunities. I’d like to know if there’s any agency that I can report them to.
I posted about FreelanceJobPlacement yesterday or the day before. After we got hit by some malware from, of all places, our local newspaper’s site, I installed some heavy duty spyware/malware/virus protection. The blocker comes up saying FreelanceJobPlacement has been reported for running a Phishing scam and having Spyware, so I block it and then go in to Craigslist and report them again. So far Craigslist hasn’t done anything, but I keep hoping if they get enough complaints they will take action.
