Do you write for Demand Studios? Writer’s Weekly is looking for experiences from DS Writers. Tell your story to angela@writersweekly.com. While I believe everyone should be honest in relaying their experiences, I will say I don’t believe it to be fair to compare DS to sites such as AllVoices and Examiner (previously profiled at Writer’s Weekly) which pay their writers very little residual income. Angela is looking to learn how much you earn and how long it takes you to write each article. She wants to know your hourly rate per article. Edited to add: Please don’t send any more emails regarding DS to Angela Hoy. She’s been inundated with responses and has everything she needs.

Re: Mom Blogger – I’m curious if anyone else applied for this and heard back? I got an immediate response, but I’m stuck in a “it almost sounds too good to be true” dilemma and after doing a Domain search and email search to see if I can find anything, I’ve come up empty.
Regarding the Mom blogger job, I received a 2nd email with a questionnaire asking about how many people you have in your address book, how much traffic your blog gets, etc. Where you would post about their company and the likes.
So you are not necessarily blogging for this site, they want you to blog about their toy site on your blog and try to send traffic their way. They also said they want people to twitter frequently about their different products. It seems more like marketing than actually writing.

That copywriter job (#2) for health & fitness is for Renasan Life. I keep seeing that ad on every job board. Renasan Life is a ‘treatment’ that is a series of injections over a period of 12 weeks. It’s supposed to ‘instruct’ your body to burn more fat. OH, and it’s also described as being able to improve your libido.
Of course you can all make your own decisions. The link takes you through a few other links and then the web site takes some time to load. For those of you who would not choose to work for this type of company, just thought I’d save you some time.

In all due respect, I have spoken with the folks at RenasanLife and they were very friendly and helpful. FYI, they are a group of physicians that created a weight loss treatment. I live in Toms River NJ and I decided to apply for the editing and freelance job. I landed it! Plus I am a patient and I lost 11 lbs in the first week.
Not very professional to post negative out of ignorance.
