I hate scammers and unfortunately there are far too many of them around. David Hobart from Purecontent has contacted me to help him get the word out about this one, and I am happy to oblige. We have become the latest target of one of the many Online Criminals. An advert was placed by someone pretending to be an employee of Purecontent who purported to be attempting to sign up new writers. Why you may ask yourself ? I ask myself the same question. These people are out to cause as much aggravation for everyone as possible. This instance appears to be an attempt at identity theft. I have pasted the email below for your information. If you have received such a mail it is NOT from us at Purecontent. As you all know we take the security of our writers and clients very seriously. We would never ask for sensitive/personal information over a messenger client. Please be vigilant and report any suspicious emails to me personally at david@purecontent.com. This has been reported to the appropriate authorities so hopefully the perpetrator will be caught and stopped.

They are also using jdempsey@linksurge. The screen name is Jdempsey LSE. In order to write for them you have to download Digsby. I going to report it to Digsby. They seem like they are a reputable company.
