  1. Tish Davidson says:

Could someone please explain to me how Jobirn (Proofreader job #1 works? When I go to the site, I see a list of recruiters and applicants, but no specific jobs.

  2. Donna says:

Hey Deb, no worries on getting things up a little late. We’ve all been there with sick kids and doctor’s appointments. Some days there just aren’t enough hours. Between in-service days and my husband and son being sick, I had one or more people here all day from Oct 1 – 11. I had no idea how much I relied on having the house to myself and no outside distractions, then had to scramble the last week to make my month. Just take care of your little guy — hope he’s feeling better soon!

  3. Lisa says:

Are you posting the listings a few days at a time? I can’t figure out if you miss a few days and then ‘catch up’ so to speak by posting 3 days at once or if it is my AOL that doesn’t always find the updated page.

    • Deb says:

      Hi Lisa,

I’m posting every weekday though this week I’ve been posting late in the morning.

      • Andrea says:

Lisa, sometimes the FWJ homepage doesn’t list the updated page even though it’s there. I’ve had success going in through the purple Writing Gigs tab. Either that or click on the purple link “Writing Gigs that’s under the date of any older post. Usually, that will take you to the entire Writing Gigs section, and the most recent set of leads is at the top. I’m not sure what makes the home page so finicky, but you’re not the only one who’s had that issue.

  4. Jen says:

    Hi Deb.

Just thought I’d drop you a note to let you know that I just heard back about my application to the 3rd content writing job on your list. I got it. It’s obviously not crazy high pay or anything, but the company is one I know well. I never knew the used freelancers and I’m excited that I’m not going to writing content for them.

    Thanks! :D
    Jen

  5. Deb,

On the Lovetoknow.com job, were they looking for a specific topic for just writers in general? Usually they say what they are looking for, so I was just curious.
