		<description>Ditto on #6. Aside from that, I&#039;ve found that fraternizing with the &quot;competition&quot; has allowed me to build a supportive, professional network around myself. We can rant to each other. Solicit advice. And sometimes even send work the other&#039;s way.</description>

Like a news paper, columnist don&#039;t consider reporters competition.

Consider your fellow freelancers virtual employees in a distant cubicle.
