I’ve recently taken to catalog shopping. I suppose it’s more like catalog window shopping, as I have yet to actually purchase anything for fear of getting on 150 mailing lists before my purchase ever even makes its way to me. Still, I’ve been having a lot of fun seeing just how much junk is being hocked by mail. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some really good stuff, too. I recently came across the funniest t-shirt ever nestled in among the Snuggies and tea pots shaped like roosters.
It totally appeals to my snobby writer side!
This got me to poking around on the Internet, because I was supposed to be writing for a client and am easily distracted at these times, and I found a few more good ones for the writers on your holiday shopping list.
I’m thinking of starting a collection of these sayings. If you’ve got a good one, leave it in the comments so we can all get a good laugh!
