Archaeology Careers Writer Needed

Seeking experienced writer to cover topic of “Archaeology Careers.”

1. 30-40 pages
2. Pages should be in range of 400-600 words (whatever is needed to describe topic)
3. For the Web
4. 6.5 cents per word
5. Submitted as Word doc
6. Deadline: March 31, 2010 (or sooner)

Material will be published on a well-established careers website.

Strong preference is for a writer who has experience in the ‘field’ so to speak. If you don’t know about archaeology, then you’re probably not a good fit. (we’re NOT looking for ‘SEO writers’)

The outline will be jointly developed but generally speaking topics will include career overview pages, job descriptions (responsibilities, requirements, pay ranges), strategies used to find archaeology jobs, a Q&A or two with people working in the field, resource list, … and more.

PLEASE SEND RESUME AND AT LEAST TWO WRITING SAMPLES FOR EVALUATION PURPOSES. *OR LINKS TO SAME* NO CONSIDERATION W/O SAMPLES.

    Hi,

I have been using your website for a couple of months now to find various forms of job leads. Recently I have hired writers and have turned my freelance writing into a small writing company. You can see my website. If you could honour me with an answer to a question I have, I would appeciate it.

Which marketing forums do you consider to be the best to promote your services; and are you aware of any marketing companies that can help small writing businesses take off?

    Thanks,

    A. Hayes.
