I love the simplicity and truth of this short post! I recently wrote a blog post similar to this. Being sincere and having something to offer, or “share,” are the best ways to build an audience. I also think of it like this: give, give, give, get.

I think the best blogs teach, but it can be a fine line to teach without lecturing or sounding pompous. A little self-effacing humor goes a long ways.
This is exactly what I try to do on my blog – share. The internet is really used for sharing information quicker than we ever used to, and that’s what I try and do.
I also like the idea of sharing on my blog and have gotten much traffic/feedback because of it! It’s something about “paying it forward”
