[...] Here’s another one for all you list pervs out there. I have no idea why memes go viral all over the internet – other than being all porny – yet here I am, making fun of crap in no particular order. Yet, for some reason, ANY collection of stock photos of the same subject matter has the internet reeling. So, to satiate internet appetites, I’m going all list fetish all over your faces. Have fun, wackos. Damn, I’m a bitter old coot. Someone should offer me a book deal already. [...]

Fascinating topic Deb!

I was familiar with a couple of these blogs and several of the books, but was surprised to see that how many blog books there actually are.

This is a great, unique article. These kind of posts are why I come here. Keep up the good work!

This is so true. Course I did a lot of journaling before doing any blogging. I wrote my first book in February of 2008 - Sounds Like A Doll. I'm a Doll Designer and Doll Maker. I now freelance as NY Doll Examiner. All this writing really opened up my imagination and my quest to write forever!! I'm so pleased about my book.

Always love a good blog-turned-book story – a true testament to the power of smart content curation.

Anonymous Lawyer (Stories from the trenches, by a fictional hiring partner at a large law firm in a major city)

This one was a hysterical blog (http://anonymouslawyer.blogspot.com) that was turned into a hysterical book (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Anonymous-Lawyer/Jeremy-Blachman/e/9780312425555/?itm=1&USRI=anonymous+lawyer). I read both with great pleasure.

Don't forget Texts from Last Night. I'm ashamed to say that is now a book as well. Basically anything that runs of user-generated content.

Honestly, I'd love to turn my blog, twentyhood, into a book. It's a blog about life as a twentysomething, so not exactly a brand new topic. But I reckon it's something folks would buy.

Call me.
