Thanks for the list.
Deborah, I don’t know if you’re paying attention but the All Freelance Writing blog has been on an almost daily mission to discredit you and FWJ. They don’t mention your name but it’s obvious. I don’t know what you did you did to piss off the owner but she and her team have their claws out and it’s getting ugly. I just want to thank you for you class.
Thanks for the listings!–Your website is getting better and better!
Hi everyone,
I was curious if anyone knows more about AARP writing. The list has the pay as $1/word which is phenomenal, but for the life of me, I can’t find anywhere on their writer guidelines that states this.
Hope someone will at least acknowledge my post. There are times that I don’t get an answer of any kind. What’s up? Is their a secret code I need to use?
.
Thanks and happy writing.
Hi Bridgitte,
Though it doesn’t state it on the guidelines, I found the pay as $1 per word at several other websites.
There’s no secret code for getting responses. Truth is, I get so busy during the day I often forget to check here for comments. With the other blogs I get an email reminder when there are comments. However, this particular blog doesn’t seem to love me much as I don’t get those reminders even though it’s set up to do so.
Thanks, Deb. Appreciate the response and the info.
Bridgitte,
$1 per word, as Deb says, is not unheard of, though that rate is becoming more rare than it once was. And word rates haven’t gone up in years. The ones paying these rates expect much more in terms of experience, research, etc., than ones paying less.
