No time for chit chat. I have a sinking feeling school will be canceled tomorrow and for the rest of the week so I have to plan ahead.

#4 FlexJobs is a pay service, not a job listing.
FlexJobs is looking for a writer and researcher for its team.
That’s right WotV, but this gig is very much a paying position. To apply, you don’t have to pay for their services. The assigmment is actually to write business profiles for the companies they bring jobs from. I’ve applied to this one earlier and am considering applying again. Good luck!

Thanks for the list.
Has anyone worked for seed.com? I’ve heard mixed things about them and wondering if anyone has any experience with them and if they make payments on time.
Thanks,
Noelle

I just submitted my first article for SEED so I will let you know how it goes!
Hi Deb,
I have recently gotten shafted (too polite to use word I really want to say) and would like to know how I can report this editor and warn other writers about not working for her (unless they don’t want to get paid).
Do you have a “whispers and warning” section or some such thing?
Thanks,
Marjorie
That sounds like a great idea. I got “shafted” by a book publisher who wouldn’t honor my contract. I tried legal action, but he’s not a U.S. citizen and hides well. The company is still publishing (and not paying any authors!) I’d love to warn writers also.

Anyone take a look at The SEED? There is an interview with a writer. The questions come from an editor, I assume. First question to a lady named Kirsten is: “So, Kirsten…tell me…” Yup, “So..” is the lead!
Anyone enjoy being interviewed by a high school student while trying to make it as a professional writer?
Good grief! If that interview is any indication of the quality of the site, I’ll pass!
