I just thought I would add a comment with regard to the greeting card writing gig. I spoke to this guy over the phone and thought he appeared quite rude. Firstly, it states to contact him and then he wonders what you need to know.
I sent him some information over he requested to help with distribution of his work. I then got an email saying my writing did not match his needs. He told me to send over work that has already been published before sending in work to be officially reviewed. I don’t mind that so much, I just wish he had been more polite.

What’s with Post #2 under proofreading/editing jobs? The link goes to some job application page, but no company info or anything. Anyone ever dealt with this type of link before?

In regards to Post #2 under proofreading,editing jobs, I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. If you fill out the application, you’ll get an email asking you to give more info that fits the profile of a phishing scam. Sorry. It looked good, too.
