#6 under General / Misc is looking for “writers to complete college and university level essays . . . .” Thought FWJ decided at one point not to run these postings, as they are definitely unethical.

3 and 5 under the Proofreading/Editing gigs are the same advertisement– and it’s a scam. The woman who replies to the ads is an affiliate for RealWritingJobs.com. She’ll try and get you to register for their site for a small fee, and then the site will keep charging your card $47 per month for so-called “job leads.” I replied to this ad off of LA Craigslist last week–but dropped it like a hot potato when she asked for the registration fee.

It is really easy to participate and I love it. All you have to do is email any article submissions to [email protected]. If you want to subscribe, email [email protected] with the subject “Subscribe”. Flare contains all different types of content because the authors, you, write about what they enjoy.
They did last time. It got them about as much positive publicity as the organization (the ASPCA?) that complained about the animals left behind when the Germans deported the Jews.
