Freelance Writing Jobs for October 28, 2011

CVAre you ready for Halloween? What costume are you wearing? I don’t think I will be wearing any Halloween costume, but I will definitely be working all day. I just might take some time to prepare some Halloween treats for the fun of it, though. Whatever you end up doing, I hope that you have a great time!

One other thing – since Halloween is all about spooky things, what is it that you fear most?

Noemi Twigg has been writing for Splashpress Media for several years. An English teacher by profession, she has a penchant for words and likes to play around with them. Having been bitten by the travel bug, she aims to discover more languages in the near future as she continues to do what she loves most - writing.

  1. Hi Noemi,
Thank you for list. I think what I fear the most are noises I hear at night–especially if I don’t know where they’re coming from..Nothing unusual about this one, huh? Anyway, have a great weekend and a very Happy Halloween…

Toni Star´s last blog post ..Check out my article on Choices and my new book!

    • Noemi Twigg says:

I know what you mean, Toni. It’s even worse when you’re on vacation and not used to the sounds in the area. Have a great weekend!

  2. Thanks for the list.

  3. Thanks for all your work, Noemi. Enjoy Halloween! \

The mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the US are supposed to get snow on Saturday through the evening. Up to 5 inches in NJ, and 6-10 in NY possible. Snow this time of year is rare, at least for the mid-Atlantic region! Hopefully, it will be somewhat gone for Halloween trick or treating on Monday.

  4. Hey,

Great list again, I’d love to see some more telecommute jobs though. A lot are USA based and Im UK based.

    • Noemi Twigg says:

Hi James, I do try to find more jobs not limited to the USA, but those are not as numerous as the US-based ones. Don’t worry, I’ll keep my eyes peeled for more jobs. Have a good weekend!

  5. All of these job leads are from craigslist. Do you guys list job orders from legitimate companies?

    • Noemi Twigg says:

      Hi Geoff,
Majority of the jobs are from Craigslist, although there are also jobs from other online sources (with companies identifying themselves in some cases). While some jobs may be posted by individuals, it does not mean they’re not legit. While we cannot guarantee 100% the links – they are external and we have no control over them – we do try to put up quality job postings and avoid potential scams. We also appreciate feedback from our readers if you encounter a shady job offer upon applying.

      Have a good weekend!

  6. Hey Geoff,

I have a NICE paying regular gig thanks to Noemi posting an ad from Craisglist she saw. The ad itself was well-written and professional, and gave some details. I might have found it w/o Noemi, but might not have.

You get more flies with sugar, my friend, than by zinging insults. Just because someone posts on Craigslists hardly means it is not “legit.” Thanks to Noemi again for her work!
