I am leary about the jobs listed on craigslist. Have you had any experience with these? How do you feel about them
I will grant you that there’s a lot of garbage on Craiglist as well as a lot of people seeking slave labor. However, I did come across two different good opportunities there — one through here and one through the local Craigslist — each worth a couple of thousand of dollars in work over a short (few months) period. Clients were legit.
But it does take a lot more proposals (resume, cover letter, etc.) to get a decent client via Craigslist than other methods. My preference is JournalismJobs.com, but that’s because a majority of my work is in newspapers and magazines.

Can you help me get started as a writer? I don’t have a degree or anything, a little bit of sports writing experience online, although that website doesn’t exist any more. However, I am a fairly good writer. I always get A’s in my college essays if that is of any value. I also help write letters to parents for my mothers Montessori school.
I’m still unsure about how to get a job online that would suit my ability for part-time income.
I would appreciate a reply.
