Thanks Deb for reviving the forum. I always used to think that your site must have a forum. I have been regular visitor to your site and I have no words to explain the gratitude.
We are a family of writers and I have started writing just some months before. I have won many clients from different sources and forums.
The joy of writing is to be experienced. I enjoy writing on arts, history, products, family issues. Yes reviews are also good stream of money.
Happy to be at your blog and forum.

I am a traditional journalist attempting to navigate the world of online writing. The majority of my clients are online news sites, with a smattering of how-to mills and major blogs. The preponderance of online writing may be yet another indication of the health of print pubs. I'm also launching (shameless plug) Newslancers.com, a social network for journalists.

Deb, thanks for reviving the forum here. I visit FWJ daily for job leads and other helpful info. I'm a struggling writer, try to make a living at it. I write for Suite 101, Demand Studios and a pet blog, I have several personal blogs, and I just picked up a local private client. I prefer creative writing but haven't made any money at it yet.

Hey there,
I'm a 20 something guy who, after bouncing around from job to job, realized he was the most successful when he was creating words. At this point I'm working on my own blog-matrix at heathgordon.com and picking up private clients (2 so far, thanks Deb!). Anyways, this blog is the first place I go after I read the news and brew some coffee. The job listings are great, but the advice you give every day, Deb is the best in the business. Thanks.
I dig the freelance angle, but at some point I hope to sell some of my fiction, but I have a lot of work before I get there.

Hi all,
I found FWJ through Twitter a few months ago, and up til now have largely used the site to fuel my dreams. Now that I'm probably about to lose my day job, I'm planning to seize the opportunity to make those dreams a reality, and FWJ's going to be an invaluable resource for making that happen. (Thank you, Deb!)
I already freelance for a regional pet magazine and lifestyle magazine, but would like to expand my clientele enough to actually pay the bills. I also blog, and write fiction and poetry.
Looking forward to being part of the community.
Cheers,

Thanks for mentioning your forum - my first to join for freelancers. Enjoy your site and look forward to interacting with others. Getting my toes wet this year via freelance blogging on UpTake and Lifesnips. Both experiences have been terrific.
