I soooo want to apply for the Florida writer position with Miles Media. I just don’t know about the video thing. I haven’t done videos before. Does anyone have an idea what the pay is like?

Maryam - I’ve seen you post on here about Craigslist several times. I just watned to let you know that Craigslist is just like a classified page in the newspaper. Anyone and everyone can post there, so you aren’t applying to Craigslist directly, but rather to the individual editor or company who posted the ad. They get so many replies that they usually don’t respond unless they have chosen you. Good luck!

oh i know they don’t ever respond directly that’s why i was shocked that they resopnded within minutes, but i guess it’s because it’s a translating job?
Who knows

Has anyone had experience working for xombia.com? What’s it been like? Thanks.

Good list Jodee, better than the lame listings Beb used to give us.
BTW, looks like the chubby gal is putting text links on her guest bloggers articles, and making a few bucks off her friends.

Wicked list today!
Thankyou Jodee.

@ Jack B: You are most welcome!

@Jimmy Dean - Why too cowardly to leave your real name?
You’re really not very bright, are you? The ads pay Jodee, who according to you brings good leads. Deb isn’t profiting from her friends, she’s profiting from the blog. There’s a difference. If anyone knows how to be a good friend it’s Deb. I credit her for helping me to get my start. Besides this blog she was very patient in assisting me personally and answering my questions. Why you come here to be an ass to someone who helps so many is beyond me.
You’re kind of hypocritical. I mean why come here when you despise Deb so much? I see your anonymous comments almost every day before they’re deleted. Why do you come here if Deb and her ads are something you hate so much. Move on. Leave. I promise none of us will give you a second thought.

Not to mention, it is silly to say she is making money off of her friends and readers. She isn’t taking money out of our pockets. She is helping us to earn money to support our families.

Maryam:
I write for b5 (www.breakingthemirror.com) and have found it to be a pretty steady gig. The money is only moderate, but if you get involved, it’s a great way to learn more about professional blogging.
Keep trying. Never, ever give up! If you’re good, they’ll pick you up eventually!

Paul - Do you mean xomba?

Jen,
Yes, xomba, sorry. They seem to have an extremely long agreement statement
