Math gigs two days in a row?! Jodee is on a roll!

@ Fiona: You’re welcome!
@ Theresa: Glad you found something interesting!

Most of these were flagged by the time I got to them at 11 a.m., highly frustrating. But thanks so much for trying, Jodee!

Hi guys–I keep noting a large amount of positions I want to write to are flagged for removal. I am wondering if these are valid–is there something we can do to ensure craigslist investigates postings prior to removal (or see when and if they are removed?)

I notice the sex-toy company requires that the writer go to weekly meetings. I wonder if that’s for show and tell?
April 17th, 2008 at 9:55 pm
Yeah, I had the same experience as Hayli. Most of them had been flagged by the time I got here. This is really frustrating.

“I notice the sex-toy company requires that the writer go to weekly meetings. I wonder if that’s for show and tell?”
LOL!

Is some flagging these or what? Why are there always so many flags?
April 17th, 2008 at 10:52 pm
At Marijke - funny! If I lived closer to NJ I’d apply. Sounds like fun.

I didn’t see the ad for the sex-toy company, that got flagged too…they probably shouldn’t have posted there were weekly meetings. LOL

@ Violette: They also offer discounts to staff on their merchandise…;)
April 18th, 2008 at 12:26 am
Everything I went in to look at was flagged… Only one was still online.
April 18th, 2008 at 12:31 am
Man–I seriously think someone is going crazy with he flagging! How can we put a stop to this before ALL positions are flagged?
*you know, do you ever feel as if you are invisible in the room????*
April 18th, 2008 at 12:32 am
@ Ann G - this is becoming so frustrating. I didn’t see anything this morning that “deserved” to be flagged. Pretty soon, I won’t even bother checking Craigslist at all, which I’m sure is what someone out there wants so they can keep the prospects to themselves.
April 18th, 2008 at 1:08 am
I agree with you Fiona–there has to be a way to stop that kind of thing from happening –Craigslist has been a viable resource and landed quite a few jobs for me…

I found another posting for the sex toy site:

Now see, I accidently read massage instead of message, LOL. Thanks Jodee.
Alicia, I feel invisible all the time. It is usually when I’m talking to kids.
April 18th, 2008 at 5:49 am
P.S.
I really think this is why they get flagged, they posted to more than one craigslist. Do they have a program doing checks across the craigslists to look for duplicates.
April 18th, 2008 at 5:53 am
@ Violette: I often see the same (or a similar) ad posted on different parts of Craigslist and they aren’t flagged.
I found this interesting…Mr. or Ms. Sex Toy Site, as the case may be, reposted the ad and asked why they got flagged, since it was a legitimate job?
