You may have noticed I talk a lot about treating this blog network as a business instead of a blog. This is because my blog exploded once I stopped treating it as, well, a blog. Smart bloggers carefully weigh every single decision made about their blogs, and this especially includes advertising. Lessons in Blog Advertising

I think if I had to pick the most frustrating part of owning a blog and a blog network, it would be finding advertisers. I admit, I wasn’t very aggressive about this in the past and while I’ve obviously done OK, I know I can do better. Now that I have this network up and running, and people to pay, I have to get more aggressive in ad sales and campaigns. I realize however, I have a lot to learn.
