I’m sorry to hear that. Competition is fierce, and sometimes, employers get inundated with applications, so they don’t reply to every email they receive. To stand out, you can write an attention-grabbing subject line rather than a generic one (unless the ad specifies one). Also keep your email short – share the pertinent details immediately – and follow instructions to the letter.
