But a good rule of thumb is an hour per rotation, with a healthy break of 20 to 30 minutes. This will give you some time to let go of the information involved with one client’s work and therefore give more to the other.

    Typically I have problems switching projects because a part of myself deems me “guilty” of being a “failure” at finishing a task. As silly as it sounds, it’s a huge bugger that adds anxiety to an activity I love so much, because I end up feeling unworthy of my clients’ trust.

    I find that some “deadlines” can be rescheduled. When I sense that this is the case, I put clients on a waiting list. Quite often, this works with smaller companies.
